Niki Gelekis

I am passionate about providing a safe, respectful and therapeutic experience for my clients who are experiencing emotional distress, struggling with their mental health and struggling within their relationships. I offer a holistic approach to evidence based practices helping clients re-pattern their nervous systems to support emotional regulation and connection with self and significant others. The foundations of my work is highly relational and holistically based. I utilise many approaches to help address the impacts of stress and trauma on the brain, nervous system and on interpersonal relationships.
The therapeutic modalities I use include Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Based Therapy, Couples Therapy (EFT and Gottman), Family Therapy, Trauma Therapy using EMDR, Somatic Therapies, Parts Work, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique.
I specialise in Relational Trauma Therapy, Trauma Processing, Couples Therapy and Family Therapy. My passion is in supporting clients to process and integrate past painful emotional and relational experiences to live a more adaptive, authentic and connected life.
