A qualified and passionate Forensic Counsellor, I aim to assist those involved in criminal courts and counsel individuals to reduce recidivism. Mark is dedicated to advocating for his clients’ pursuit of justice. He specialises in forensic behavioural support and has extensive knowledge and practical experience in various behavioural support programs. Additionally, he holds numerous qualifications in forensic behaviour, psychology, counselling, therapy, and training.

Mark is currently pursuing a fast-tracked Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Southern Queensland (Juris Doctor). He is also engaged in a PhD research degree focused on Coercive Control.

Mark is a devoted family man and a caring father. He has extensive life experience, including service in the Navy, where he was significantly involved in the Falklands conflict and the Iran-Iraq war.

Mark is passionate about advocating for his clients’ pursuit of justice. He specialises in forensic behavioural support and possesses extensive knowledge and practical experience in various behavioural support programs. Additionally, he holds numerous qualifications in forensic behaviour, psychology, counselling, therapy, and training.

In relation to person-centred care, he offers personalised care and case management, highlighting his ability to treat individuals with dignity, respect, and compassion, even in challenging situations. Mark provides forensic counselling and collaborates with participants and practitioners to develop intervention plans that include clients and, when suitable, other relevant parties. Interventions may encompass restorative practices and contact/rehabilitation programs. Such facilitation often includes protective behaviour and risk awareness interventions with partners and family members to promote assertive communication and establish safe, acceptable boundaries before commencing any rehabilitation process.

• Children and young people who have engaged in sexually harmful or offending behaviours.
