We all experience ups and downs and challenges in life, but sometimes they bring us to a halt, or we feel stuck in them, unsure of ourselves and what to do. Sometimes we need help to see things more clearly, to get unstuck, and find a way forward.
As your counsellor, this is where I come in. With an emphasis on seeing you as a whole person, developing a collaborative relationship of trust, compassion and non-judgement, we will develop new self-knowledge and skills, and enhance the self-knowledge, skills and resources you already have.

Each Client is unique, bringing their own experiences and strengths to the therapy process. As we explore your particular journey, we will decide the best approach to meet your particular needs, goals, and strengths. My experience as a counsellor includes helping you to listen to and know yourself in new and deeper ways, helping you access the skills and strengths you need.

I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches and skills including Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Focusing, and wellness strategies. My counselling is client-centred, holistic, respectful of diversity, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed.

Challenges I can support you with include depression, anxiety, stress and burnout, grief and loss, relationship stress, life transitions, emotional regulation and resilience, sexuality, personal identity, and faith.

I work with individual clients in online appointments. For the last 3 years I’ve worked primarily online, and am continuing this to help meet the needs of those who, for various reasons, find it hard to access face-to-face support.

Appointments are $95 for 50 mins. However, if this cost is difficult for you, please do ask about a reduced rate.
