I am a qualified counsellor with over 20 years of experience in healthcare across a number of sectors and in various roles. I am also a yoga teacher and Reiki practioner who is deeply passionate about helping individuals uncover their true potential and create meaningful and fulfilling lives. My counselling approach is integrative, and client centered. Like most counsellor’s I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based techniques, solution-focused therapy approaches.

Qualifications:

Diploma of Counselling from The Institute of Applied Psychology

iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation, Level 1 Teacher, Yoga International, informed by Dr. Richard Miller (30 Hours) and the iRest Institute (IRI®)

Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching and Philosophy (350+ hours training)- Australian Yoga Academy

Traditional Usui Reiki, Level 1 & 2 Reiki Master – OM Reiki Centre- Jeremy O’Carroll

Member of the Australian Counselling Association Level 1 –

Yoga Australia Member Level 1

First Aid- Work place level 2 Qualifications- St John of God – Current

Payments/cancellations:

Payment will be taken at the beginning of each session and may be made by cash, electronic transfer, or PayPal. Late cancellation fees are payable as follows:

0-24 hours’ notice- full session amount is payable.

24-48 hours’ notice- 50% of session fee is payable.
