As a Brainspotting practitioner Gay is able to use this cutting edge approach to gently and unobtrusively support you to identify, process and release unconscious sources of emotional/body suffering. This technique is a very personalized methodology that utilises your own brain and body to locate, process, and release experiences and symptoms that are typically out of reach of the conscious mind. This is achieved without necessarily having to resort to revisiting past traumatic events through storytelling. Brainspotting can help you to process pain, trauma, sadness, and life challenging issues and poor self-belief. It is also an excellent approach that helps alleviate creative blocks, it can resolve procrastination as well as sports, public speaking performance issues.

Gestalt therapy combined with Brainspotting functions as a neurobiological tool to support the clinical healing relationship. There is no replacement for a mature, nurturing therapeutic presence with the ability to engage another suffering human in a safe and trusting relationship where they feel heard, accepted, and understood.
