I work with people carrying something that hasn’t yet found the right place to land. That includes men who have been told for most of their lives to cope better than they are, people from multicultural backgrounds tired of explaining their culture before they can talk about themselves, and people holding lived and living experience of mental health challenges, suicide, or family violence. Many have already had therapy that did not quite reach them.

The work is unhurried. We make sense of patterns that keep returning, what sits beneath them, and what actually helps you live differently. I work with grief and bereavement (including suicide bereavement), trauma and complex PTSD, depression and burnout, anxiety, and the long aftermath of relationships that were not safe.

For couples, I work with communication breakdown, emotional distance, recovery after betrayal, parenting and blended family dynamics, and the particular pressures of multicultural, interfaith, and FIFO relationships. The approach draws on Emotion-Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory.

Alongside therapy, I offer three distinct supervision streams: Social Work Supervision (AASW-aligned), Peer Work Supervision (aligned with the National Lived Experience Peer Workforce Guidelines), and Lived Experience Leadership Supervision for senior practitioners and leaders, shaped by my doctoral research.

Sessions are by video, anywhere in Australia.

Many of the people I work with are capable, thoughtful, and exhausted from holding it together for a long time. They live with anxiety, grief, the long aftermath of trauma, or the quiet disconnection that comes from years of carrying more than felt sustainable. Couples come looking for somewhere to put down the weight of recurring conflict, distance, or ruptures that have not healed on their own. Many have already had therapy that did not quite reach them. They want a practitioner whose understanding of what they are carrying does not stop at the textbook.

I am an Accredited Social Worker (AASW) and PhD candidate in mental health. My work is informed by lived experience of caregiving, migration, and suicide bereavement, alongside fifteen years in mental health and senior leadership. Recognition includes the AASW Social Worker of the Year (2025) and the 2026 Suicide Prevention Australia LiFE Awards.

If something in this profile recognised you, the next step is a conversation. I work online across Australia, by appointment, with no referral required and no diagnosis on a Medicare record. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, & paced around what you can actually hold. Saying yes when the fit is right matters; so does saying when it is not.
